 The series is suitable for applications with many cycles including wheelchairs, scooters, golf buggies and other high cyclic equipment. Special additives relating to electrolyte production make the A500C battery well suited to cyclic applications. At 75% rated discharge, the battery can perform 450 cycles. Considerably more charge/discharge cycles can be performed at lower partial discharges. Maintenance free and Sealed Each cell is sealed by a valve preventing penetration by airborne oxygen. Excess pressure (from overcharging) is vented and the valve resets. Gas within the battery is recombined to form water. Therefore no water topping up or filling is needed and no acid spill will occur. Deep Discharge Resistant Batteries can survive deep discharges and still recover their capacity. Even after 4 weeks left flat the battery can recover to 80% after 48 hours recharging and 100% after a few cycles. Extremely low Self Discharge Less than 3% of the rated capacity per month is storage is lost at 20°C. This means batteries can be stored for long periods without recharging. High Cycle Performance Special additives relating to electrolyte production make the A500C battery well suited to cyclic applications. At 100% rated discharge the battery can perform 400 cycles. Considerably more charge/discharge cycles can be performed at lower partial discharges. Safe for Transport Batteries comply with the Federal Office of Road Safety Schedule to ACA 94-03 when transported by road and with the IMDG paragraph for Airfreight. |
